Customers of a water supply company in the Cameron County, TX service area have persistent water quality issues, including odor and coloring in end-users’ water. The company operates in a very low-income area along the Texas-Mexico border and has a very low capacity for debt. Because of this, they are struggling to procure engineering services to help solve the water quality problem. The company owns all the land on which the project would be conducted, and has the staffing capacity to handle all facets of the project following the preliminary engineering report, including oversight and future funding.

The company is seeking assistance in determining the root cause of these issues. Project Team Needs
The team will prepare preliminary engineering report, and requires a Responsible Engineer in Charge (REIC), Quality Assurance Manager (QAM), and Project Lead. Outside of these positions, additional general project team members are welcome and are encouraged to contribute.
